Tsz Shan Monastery: A Peaceful Sanctuary with Positive Energy

Tsz Shan Monastery is a private temple founded by the famous billionaire Li Ka-shing. To visit the temple, you need to make a reservation in advance through the temple's website, which opens for booking one month ahead. Many people complain that it's hard to book and that the temple is far away, making the journey seem difficult. On my first trip to Hong Kong, I skipped this temple, but on my second trip, a friend wanted to go, so I looked up information and found it wasn't as hard as I thought. We took the 20T minibus and had to arrive early because they only allow as many passengers as there are seats. We booked a month in advance and were lucky to find available slots in the afternoon. At the entrance, they check your QR code and passport. Initially, I didn't feel much because it was very hot that day, but after a while, I could feel the positive energy due to the temple's excellent feng shui. While visiting, maintain silence as there are staff holding signs to remind you. Don't forget to collect stamps at various points for a souvenir at the base of the Guan Yin statue, where there's also a museum of ancient Buddhas. The highlight of the visit is to scoop water without spilling it to make a wish to Guan Yin. By the way, the Guan Yin statue here is the second largest in the world.
