During the Easter holiday, one percent of Hong Kong traveled abroad. We chose to stay in Hong Kong for consumption and revitalize the economy.
This time I went to Cafe Marco, a five-star Marco Polo Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, for an afternoon tea buffet.
Although there is not too much variety of food, there is still everything. The seafood includes shrimp, sea snails and mussels. The sashimi has octopus and oily fish, which are quite fresh.
Also eating salad dishes are a cost-effective food, there are many choices, and there are different sauces to choose from.
There are also many cooked foods that carnivores will probably enjoy, with German pork hands, pork neck, chicken wings, and skewers.
Of course there are also Chinese dim sum, soups.
Although the place to get food is not big, it also puts an Indian corner, those shortbreads are quite good, not greasy, and very crispy, with the curry is really good.
The dessert area is instead the largest, with a variety of cakes, and the fridge also has plenty of frozen pies, jelly, puddings and more. Those who prefer Chinese desserts also include mangosteen and bean curd pudding, as well as their own combination of taro balls, elixir and other Taiwanese desserts. The most important thing is that there is häagen-dazs ice cream, which is available in cups. You can take it yourself. There are three flavors: chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. It is already 100 yuan to eat 3 cups.
There are many choices of drinks, you can pour your own, such as coffee, tea, juice and so on.
I recommend you to eat sashimi, seafood and häagen-dazs ice cream. It’s a good option to sit and chat and eat with friends or family.
