Check In Taipei

Last week, I went to Taipei Zhan for lunch with friends at the World Trade Center. The restaurant is inspired by Taiwan Railways and features private rooms designed like royal flower carriages. The entire restaurant's decor is meticulously designed, with a gradient sunset view of Alishan on the walls and indigenous colorful elements decorating the corners, creating an atmosphere full of Taiwanese charm.

Check In Taipei insists on preserving the traditional flavors of Taiwanese cuisine while incorporating unique modern elements, using high-quality ingredients directly sourced from Taiwan.

Signature Beef Noodles $108
The signature beef noodles with beef fat oil left a deep impression. I chose hand-cut knife noodles, which have a thick and chewy texture. The broth is especially flavorful, and the beef is tender and soft. Paired with homemade beef fat oil, it adds an extra layer of richness.

Signature Braised Pork Rice $68
The braising sauce is rich, and the combination of meat and rice has an excellent texture, served with half a soft-boiled marinated egg.

Napoleon $108
This signature dessert is made fresh to order. The three-layer Napoleon is filled with different fillings, offering a rich and multi-layered taste. The crispy pastry base pairs with chilled taro paste and chewy mochi, topped with salted egg yolk crumbs for garnish.

🍎 Apple Bitter Melon Juice $48
Slightly sweet, clears heat and detoxifies
🧋 Pearl Milk Tea $45
Chewy pearls with smooth milk tea
