Sheung Wan Michelin Chinese Cuisine Recommendation

This time we visited Lung Mei Restaurant in Nan Fung Tower, Central. This restaurant was awarded the Michelin Recommendation in 2018. If you love Chinese food, you definitely cannot miss it. The restaurant’s decor is very elegant, modern with a touch of Chinese style, and the seating space is spacious and very comfortable.

Spinach Lobster Soup
The rich spinach flavor is complemented by a subtle lobster taste, making it quite fresh to drink. The texture is smooth yet creamy, quite unique.

Peking Duck
The Peking duck skin is crispy and the meat tender, with evenly distributed fat. The best part is their pancake, which is thin yet chewy, wrapping the duck meat, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce, creating a rich and layered taste.

Signature Crispy Eggplant
The eggplant is fried crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a sweet eggplant flavor. The eggplant itself is not greasy, making it light to eat. The outer layer is crispy while the inside remains juicy.

Spicy Crispy Prawn Balls
The prawn balls are large, fried to a golden crisp, with a strong aroma of Sichuan peppercorns. The prawn meat is large, with a refreshing and bouncy texture, not dry at all despite being fried, very delicious.

Fried Noodles with Bean Sprouts and Shredded Pork
Loaded with bean sprouts and shredded pork, the portion is generous. The bottom of the fried noodles is crispy, with a very wok hei flavor.
