Dragon’s Back, Hike That’s Easy But Feels Epic

#chinatravel Dragon’s Back in the Southern District of Hong Kong is hands down one of the best casual hikes out there. Like it gives you those epic views without making you feel like you're dying halfway through. Perfect mix of effort and reward.

I started from the trailhead near To Tei Wan and right away you’re getting mountain plus ocean views that are straight up wallpaper worthy. The path is super manageable too. Some stairs, a bit of incline, but nothing too wild. You’ll probably sweat a little but it’s worth it.

Once you hit the ridge, it’s all breeze and big sky energy. You see Shek O, Tai Tam, and even Big Wave Bay if you’re lucky with the weather. I ended the hike down at Big Wave Bay for a chill beach cooldown and it was the perfect combo.

If you want nature vibes without committing to a crazy hike, Dragon’s Back is the move. Just bring water and you’re set.
