Inviting you to the Water Curtain Cave in Baligou

✅When visiting Baligou, you must explore the Water Curtain Cave! This is the soul of Baligou and the essence of the area. Baligou will absolutely amaze everyone—feel the cool mountain breeze. Although the Tianhe Waterfall might be unexpectedly small, the Water Curtain Cave will make you want to call all your friends immediately to come and see it for themselves!

✅If your stamina is limited, besides taking the scenic shuttle bus, be sure to ride the electric cart inside the scenic area. It costs 10 yuan per ride, and you can get off at the last stop, the Tianhe Waterfall Station. After visiting the Water Curtain Cave, you can hike downhill until you’re tired, then hop on an electric cart to descend—each ride costs 10 yuan regardless of distance.

✅Today, our entire trip to Baligou took 7.5 hours. We arrived at the scenic area entrance at 10 AM and left at 5:30 PM. We took the scenic shuttle bus and hiked the entire way inside the area, following the stream toward Tianhe Waterfall. After exiting the Water Curtain Cave, we took the electric cart directly downhill.

✅Baligou doesn’t have many steep steps—most paths are wooden boardwalks shaded by trees, so it’s not too hot. About two-thirds of the way up, at Yangzhoudi Station, two of us were too exhausted to continue and took the electric cart down, missing the Water Curtain Cave. So, I recommend taking the electric cart straight to Tianhe Waterfall, then hiking part of the way down based on your energy level—don’t miss Tianhe Waterfall and the Water Curtain Cave!
