The Hanging Temple, also Hengshan Hanging Temple, Hanging Monastery or Xuankong Temple is a temple built into a cliff near Mount Heng in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, China.

The temple was built on the cliffs of Mt. Hengshan, one of the five most scared mountains in China. The very unique temple is the combination of three religions of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. About 1/3 of building body is hanging on the cliff, with its halls connected by winding corridors and bridges.
