🏔️ Shiraki-mine (白木峰) – Mountain Peak
• Location: Straddles the border between southern Toyama and northern Gifu Prefectures.
• Elevation: 1,596 meters (5,236 feet). 
• Significance: It’s the highest peak in the local mountain range, offering panoramic views of Toyama and Takayama cities on clear days.
• Access: While there was previously a parking lot near the summit, recent landslides have closed the access road. Hikers now need to trek from lower elevations.
• Features: The area includes a campground and a cultural hall or museum detailing the surrounding nature.

🌸 Shirakimine Plateau (白木峰高原) – Scenic Plateau
• Location: Situated in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture, at the southern foot of Mt. Gohara (1,057 meters).
• Elevation: Approximately 330 meters.
• Highlights:
• Spring: Around 100,000 rape blossoms and cherry blossoms bloom, creating a vibrant landscape.
• Autumn: Approximately 200,000 cosmos flowers cover the plateau, attracting numerous visitors.
• Activities: The plateau is popular for flower viewing, photography, and enjoying panoramic views of Isahaya City and the Ariake Sea.
• Access: About a 20-minute drive north from central Isahaya City.
