A Masterpiece in the Rice Fields: Guangdu Village Dagong Hall

📍Guangdu Village "Xiakou Dagong Hall"

Built in the 46th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty, Dagong Hall can be reached by crossing a creek bridge (Photo 4), and there is even a specially built parking lot at the entrance.

This place was once used as a private school and academy. Now it is completely empty, and the main gate is usually closed. Fortunately, that day we happened to meet a local resident who got the key from an aunt in the neighboring village, allowing us to enter and visit. (Photos 6-17 show the interior)

On the main road across the bridge, you can see another standalone archway, the "Zhenxiao Archway" (Photo 18).
