How to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village? Here's a guide for non-locals!

Today, I will share with you the dazzling pearl of Miao culture in Qiandongnan Prefecture - Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.
📍From Guiyang
Itinerary:
1️⃣ Take a high-speed train to Kaili South Station, which takes only 48 minutes!
2️⃣ Take a bus from Kaili to the scenic area (Kaili South Station Bus Station - Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village), which takes only 40 minutes!
Tips⚠️: After exiting Kaili South Station, go to the scenic area direct bus ticket hall on the left, and it costs only CNY 35 per person! You can go directly to the Miao Village. After purchasing the ticket, the staff will enthusiastically guide you to the bus station to take the bus!

Tickets🎫:
Miao Village ticket: CNY 110 per adult (including 4 sightseeing bus rides)
🚌 The sightseeing bus in the scenic area is included in the ticket, and you can take it 4 times. If you take it more than 4 times, you will need to pay an additional CNY 5 each time!

The direct bus to the scenic area goes to the north gate. Recommended sightseeing bus route:
1️⃣ North Gate ➡️ Small North Gate (Explore the Miao Village)
2️⃣ No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge ➡️ Viewing Platform (Overlook the panoramic view of the Miao Village on the uphill section)
3️⃣ Viewing Platform ➡️ No. 1 Wind and Rain Bridge (Experience Miao architecture and culture on the downhill section)
4️⃣ Small North Gate ➡️ North Gate (End✔️)
‼️ According to the above route, you can use the sightseeing bus 4 times❗️

2️⃣ Caotang Tea House (A restaurant with delicious food and great photo opportunities)
3️⃣ Shanye Souvenir (A handmade tie-dye shop run by an old lady)
4️⃣ Pigsty Coffee (You can swing with a receipt, but the road to the shop is steep and the steps are narrow, so it is recommended to wear non-slip shoes)

Food
You must try the black pork skewers, made from freshly slaughtered black pigs and skewered by the grandmother in the morning. CNY 10 for 10 skewers! The meat is tender and juicy! You won't be disappointed!

Accommodation tips💭
When visiting the Miao Village, be sure to ask if there is a luggage service when booking a homestay, as you will need to walk on your own in the scenic area, and the downhill road is steep with steps, so it is easy to fall when carrying your luggage!
There are many homestays, and it is now the off-season, so you can choose carefully after entering the scenic area, or search and book online.
