A countryside hotel with an infinity pool near Guiyang, staying amidst the scenery

Last week, the weather was nice, so I drove to the mountains for a day trip.
Just an hour's drive from Guiyang,
you can enjoy panoramic views of early summer countryside from the cliffside.

Random thoughts from a flower-hearted traveler:
① This hotel is located in "Matou Village" in Kaiyang, very close to "Nanjiang Grand Canyon"—just 10 to 20 minutes away. In summer, many people who go rafting choose to stay here overnight after their adventure. The next day, they can relax in the hotel's private infinity hot spring.

② Opened in 2019, the hotel offers not only standard rooms but also standalone and townhouse villas. The villas are fully equipped, allowing guests to cook, with plenty of entertainment facilities, including a KTV. It's perfect for graduation parties, team-building events, or family vacations.

③ Perched on a cliff, the hotel overlooks picturesque countryside and scattered villages. The scenery changes with the seasons, offering stunning views. Almost all rooms are designed for sightseeing, making it comfortable even if you just want to relax indoors.

④ The hotel features a large terrace where you can enjoy tea by the fire pit, accompanied by a rich selection of snacks—even fresh milk to pair with your tea.

⑤ The "Rooftop Restaurant" boasts incredible views, especially at dusk. You can dine on steak and wine while enjoying the evening breeze or head to the nearby "infinity pool" for Instagram-worthy shots.

⑥ The white staircase leading to the rooftop, combined with the countryside below, makes for a perfect photo backdrop, no matter what color you're wearing.

⑦ The village at the foot of the mountain is Matouzhai in Hefeng Township, with a long history and many local eateries offering farm-style dishes like fish and firewood chicken. You can drive around and pick whichever spot catches your eye.
