Kalbarri in April

To celebrate the Easter school holiday break, we ventured to the picturesque #kalbarri!

We visited #kalbarrinationalpark to view the skywalk lookout, walk to #natureswindow and hike the 9km loop. This walk is beautiful but you need to start the trail early as it is very hot in the gorge with almost zero shade.

Another lovely (and shorter) walk is the #zbend walk which is approximately 2.6km from the car park. Here you will find a trail including some ladder-type stairs to reach the river and rock formations below. This is a must see!

We visited the #redbluffbakeryandcafe for daily treats such as pies, sausage rolls, donuts, pastries, sushi, and fresh rolls, salads and curries.

There is a free Pelican-feeding presentation on the foreshore every morning 8:45am-9am opposite the #thepelicancafe.

We stayed at the #kalbarrianchorageholidayvillage in a basic cabin which can sleep 6 people. Here you can set up your tent or caravan. We had lunch one day at the nearby #thegorgescafe, I had a turmeric latte and burrito bowl which was tasty and nutritious.

On the lay back to Perth we stopped at #huttlagoon a marine salt lake with pink water and salt crystals! Throw is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area!

Be sure to pack plenty of water, a hat and sun protection to enjoy the natural beauty.
