Shiraito Falls, Nagano Prefecture

Shiraito Falls (白糸の滝) located in Karuizawa City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.

This waterfall is characterized by the abundant water flowing from the wide rock walls resembling white threads (hence the name "Shiraito," meaning "white thread.") Approximately 3 meters high and over 70 meters wide, it creates a beautiful and tranquil scenery. Visitors can easily visit it, especially during the lush green spring and summer, or during the snowy winter.
