Khiva

Khiva Old Town is located in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan and is an important cultural crossroads of East and West on the ancient Silk Road. In 1990, it became the country's first World Cultural Heritage site. The old town still preserves the inner city of Itchan Kala, maintaining the architectural layout since the 17th century, including nearly 200 historical buildings such as mosques, madrasahs, and minarets.
