Meriken Park is an essential tourist destination when traveling to Kobe.
It's a great spot for viewing the horizon stretching out before you.
While simply gazing at the view of Kobe Port is nice, why not enjoy a hotel buffet while gazing at the harbor?
Terrace & Dining ALL FLAGS, a restaurant located inside the Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, offers ocean views from inside the restaurant and also has an open terrace facing the water, where you can enjoy the atmosphere of a beer terrace while listening to the sound of the waves.
Please note that the plan you choose determines whether you will be dining inside or on the terrace.
The buffet contents change depending on the season.
I visited in mid-June, when they were holding their "Italian & Melon Fair."
A wide variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, were lined up inside the restaurant, and chefs were plating the food in the central open kitchen.
There were plenty of melon dishes, from appetizers to desserts, including prosciutto and melon and melon ice cream.
Since it was an Italian fair, there was also a wide selection of ham.
Lunchtime is a great way to enjoy the blue ocean and sky, but sunset is especially recommended!
