#SamuiTravel Koh Samui Vacation: Close Your Eyes at Cape Fane Island
Back on Koh Samui again!!!
This time, I chose Cape Fane Island, a one-island, one-hotel option. I was very impressed with both the service and the atmosphere.
Although the hotel is on an island, it's not too difficult to get to. At low tide, it's easy to walk to the other side.
The hotel has only 22 villas, so it's quiet and uncrowded.
Even at breakfast, I barely saw anyone.
I stayed in a Horizon Ocean View room, located on the hilltop, offering incredible privacy. Highly recommended! [Thumbs up]
The panoramic ocean view is breathtaking. Room 21 was voted the best ocean view room. 🏠
I downloaded the hotel's app on check-in day and was able to contact them with any questions. They were incredibly responsive.
The hotel also offers complimentary activities, such as kayaking.
I was so lazy for two full days that I barely left the house, except for breakfast and ordering room service for dinner (Photo 17).
Breakfast was at Long Tai Thai Restaurant, right off 21st Street. No need to call for a stroller. They offer both buffet and a la carte options. Although the buffet is limited, the menu offers a wide selection and the presentation is excellent. Compared to the breakfast at previous Hyatt Regency hotels I've stayed at, it's simply unbeatable.
The minibar is free, and there's a variety of fruits in the living room every day.
☹️ The in-room pool isn't heated, so it's quite chilly in February.
The hotel has two restaurants. 🍴
HUE, the poolside restaurant, is open all day.
Dinner was at Long Tai, a Michelin-starred restaurant, featuring delicious Thai cuisine.
