Kitakyushu Travel: Specialty Chiffon Cake Shop

During my trip to Kitakyushu, I stumbled upon a chiffon cake shop 🧁🐻 while walking around Kokura.

They use 100% rice flour from Fukuoka Prefecture, along with carefully selected ingredients such as domestic brown sugar, premium eggs, and beet granulated sugar to create their fluffy chiffon cakes πŸ§πŸ’•.

Not only do they offer takeout, but they also have an eat-in option. I was drawn to their newly introduced eat-in exclusive plate, so I decided to give it a try πŸ™‹β™€οΈ.

The chiffon cake, wrapped in soft mochi, was incredibly tender and topped with plenty of fresh cream. It had a chewy texture, almost like a daifuku mochi 😍.

The plate was beautifully garnished with freshly sliced peaches arranged like flowers, and the peach sauce was packed with fruit chunks πŸ‘. It was absolutely delicious ❀️.

And the Momotaro cookies were just too adorableβ€”they completely won me over πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°.

The shop interior was super cute, the staff were kind, and the whole experience was so soothing πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°. The showcase was also filled with many adorable cakes 🍰.
