Kota Kinabalu is full of hidden gems that mix nature, culture, and scenic beauty. On my trip, I got to experience three very different yet equally amazing spots – Desa Dairy Farm, Silau-Silau Trail, and Tanjung Rhu.

🐄 Desa Dairy Farm – Often called the “Little New Zealand of Sabah,” this farm sits at the foothill of Mount Kinabalu. With cool breezes, wide open fields, and black-and-white cows grazing against the backdrop of majestic mountains, it’s like stepping into a postcard. Don’t forget to try their fresh milk and creamy gelato – a must! 🥛🍦

🌿 Silau-Silau Trail – For nature lovers, this trail inside Kinabalu Park is perfect for a refreshing walk. Surrounded by lush greenery, mossy trees, and the sound of flowing streams, it’s a peaceful way to soak in the beauty of the rainforest. The cool mountain air makes it even more enjoyable. 🌳🍃

🌊 Tanjung Aru – Ending the day by the sea, Tanjung Aru offers a stunning coastal view where the horizon meets the waves. It’s a spot to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunset painting the sky in golden and pink hues. 🌅💙

From green pastures to mountain trails and calming seas, Kota Kinabalu truly has it all – a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. ✨
