SAGANO ROMANTIC TRAIN

The SAGANO ROMANTIC TRAIN is a classic steam train known as Japan's romantic train. We had the opportunity to ride this train in April, taking the JR train from Kyoto to JR Umahori Station to purchase tickets for the romantic train at Torokko Kameoka. The 7.3-kilometer journey takes about 25 minutes, passing by the emerald green Hozugawa River. The trees along the way provide a lot of shade, making it a very interesting scenic train route.
