Eikando Temple

Visit Eikando Temple in Kyoto during winter! (Actually, this temple is most famous during the autumn foliage season, and it’s absolutely stunning then! ☺️)
Originally, this temple was part of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, but it has since transitioned to the Jodo sect.
The architecture of this temple is incredibly beautiful, so if you’re into this style, it’s highly recommended! 🩵🤍
The pathways within the temple connect all areas, making it very easy to navigate.
Throughout the temple, you’ll find traditional Japanese gardens everywhere ✨🌿🍀
In addition to the gardens, there’s also a small stream where you can take some lovely photos 🌤️

🚌 To get there, take the train to Keage Station and then walk for about 15 minutes 😊
