Xi'an, just 1 hour away! Discover the real-life "Mini Dunhuang"

While others flock to the Terracotta Army and Muslim Street in Xi'an, I've unearthed a hidden gem—Shuilu'an Temple—a truly awe-inspiring journey of discovery.

⛩️ Shuilu'an Temple, a hidden artistic treasure in Lantian County, Xi'an, is known as the "Mini Dunhuang." It houses over 3,700 colorful clay sculptures from the Ming Dynasty, which, despite over 500 years of history, remain vibrant and lifelike. Stepping inside feels like stepping back in time, instantly transporting you to ancient times. The walls and pillars are covered in exquisite clay sculptures, each silently narrating ancient Buddhist stories.

The Hall of Five Hundred Arhats is the absolute highlight of Shuilu'an Temple! Each of the five hundred arhats has a unique posture and expression. Some appear serene, as if pondering Buddhist doctrines; others have piercing gazes, seemingly perceiving all worldly phenomena. The intricate details make you feel as if they might step down from the wall and converse with you at any moment.

🚗 Transportation Tips:
It's about a 1-hour drive from downtown Xi'an. Driving or hiring a car is very convenient, allowing you to enjoy the scenery along the way.

🎫 Ticket Information: Free! Free! Free! It's worth repeating—it's incredibly budget-friendly!
Opening Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. It's recommended to allocate 2-3 hours for a leisurely visit.

Special Reminder: To better protect these precious cultural relics, photography is prohibited inside the temple. Perhaps the best way to cherish the beauty is to keep it in your heart.
