Stunning Yamdrok Lake Self-Driving Guide

On the way to Kula Gangri, we passed by Yamdrok Lake.
At first sight, I was captivated by this sapphire.
From a distance, you can even see the snow-capped mountains.
The whole scene looks like a breathtaking painting.
No phone camera can truly capture the beauty of Yamdrok Lake!

About Yamdrok Lake:
Yamdrok Lake, also known as Yamdrok Yumtso, is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet, with a surface elevation of over 4,400 meters! The shoreline is winding and twisting, and the blue of the lake varies from different angles!
-
About the Scenic Area:
Yamdrok Lake has 4 viewing platforms, each with its own unique features. A 100 yuan pass grants access to all 4 viewing platforms!
-
About the Free Yamdrok Lake:
We drove there ourselves, stopping whenever we wanted. There are traffic police who disperse people in the first half of the route, but none in the latter half, allowing close-up photos by the lake. Personally, I think the free Yamdrok Lake experience is incredibly worthwhile!
