This resort exemplifies excellent service and superb cuisine, which is expected at such a price. Our experience began with a warm greeting and friendly staff. Our overwater villa was spotless, and the private pool was only surpassed by the stunning view. Anara, our GEM, was very responsive to our needs and seamlessly handled our dining and activity reservations. The resort's food is extraordinary. We came for the views, but we'd return for the food as well—authentic, spicy, and beautifully presented, a food blogger's delight. The service staff were always kind and attentive. A brief trip to the Crossroads improves this resort as you can enjoy a second island and explore its eateries. We visited the Hard Rock Cafe and Ministry of Crab (highly recommended). The beaches at the resort are pristine, with white, high silica sand, and young coral pieces washing in from the lagoon. We tried coral reef snorkeling, and for someone who fears open water, it was magical. Eddie, our private host, helped transform a daunting experience into a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend: an overwater villa with a private pool; floating breakfast in the pool; happy hour drinks at the Pavilion; cigars at Lazuli; dining at Citronelle & Hadaba (don't miss the cold hummus), and sunset cruises to see dolphins. Overall, a magical experience. Despite the cost (USD++ converted to AUD), you truly receive what you pay for.
