At Milaidhoo Maldives, overwater villas are a common choice, but beachfront villas are actually treated as a higher category. The beachfront villas at this resort are attractive for their privacy and luxurious space, and are truly a place that offers the ultimate relaxation.

Spacious villas and private pools

When I arrived at the beachfront villa, I was first surprised by its size. The interior has an open design, and the natural wood-based interior is comfortable, making it a space where you can feel at ease no matter where you are.

In particular, the private pool was luxurious itself, and I was able to view the sea without being disturbed by anyone while surrounded by greenery. The daybeds by the pool were also comfortable, and the time I spent relaxing in the morning sun was exceptional.

Private beach spreading out in front of me

The biggest feature of this villa is the beautiful private beach spreading out in front of me. The white sand spreads out, and you can enjoy a luxurious time while listening to the sound of the waves. It felt like my own beach, and it was a special space even within the resort.

It was also a great location for snorkeling, and we could enjoy the coral reefs with colorful fish swimming just by going a little offshore.

Differences from Overwater Villas

Overwater villas are generally popular at resorts in the Maldives, but at Milaidhoo, beachfront villas are in the higher category. This is because they offer more space and privacy, and the beach is beautiful right in front of you.

Direct access to the ocean from the overwater villas is also attractive, but I felt that the beachfront villas made me feel closer to nature and gave me a more special experience.
