Epic Glacier Escape❄️

Missing the humdrum city life and craving some epic mountain vibes? 🏔️❄️ Here’s how I escaped to Ngawa, Sichuan for a seriously scenic adventure that’s all about snow-capped peaks and glacier landscapes. If you want to see China’s wild side, add Lianbaoyeze Scenic Area to your bucket list!

Must-See: Lianbaoyeze Scenic Area
Nature lovers — this is your playground. The Lianbaoyeze Scenic Area in western Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture is where glacial valleys, cloudy skies, and majestic snow mountains come together for dramatic views. Snap that classic shot with snowy ridges behind you — perfect for yellow-coat aesthetics! Entry is on the pricier side (RMB 2480), but trust me, the natural grandeur makes it worth every yuan.

Travel Tips:
- Plan ahead! The scenic area only opens May 1–Oct 10 (08:00–18:00, admission until 17:30) and Oct 11–Apr 30 (08:30–17:30, last ticket/entry at 17:00). Check weather reports — cloudy days are common and rainfall can shift the mood for photos.
- Layer up. Temperatures at the glacier can drop quickly, especially on rainy days. A waterproof jacket (bonus if it’s yellow for the ‘gram) is a must.
- Pack snacks and water, as cafes are rare and nature dominates here. Take all rubbish with you to keep these landscapes pristine.

Getting Around & Essential Tips:
The area is remote; public transport is limited, so hiring a local driver or joining a small group tour is smart for flexibility and comfort. Cash is rarely accepted, so pay with your phone wherever possible.

If you crave untouched nature, glacial air, and Insta-worthy views, Ngawa County delivers the goods!
