Jigokudani Hell Valley is a famous natural attraction in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. 🌋
Jigokudani means "Hell Valley." This area is home to sulfurous smoke billowing from the ground and bubbling mud pools, created by geothermal energy. It's the source of Noboribetsu Onsen, considered one of the best onsen in Japan.
There's a wooden bridge that offers panoramic views around the valley, and there are several viewing points where you can see small eruptions of smoke rising from the ground. The nature trail is approximately 1 kilometer long, offering stunning views along the way. Be careful when visiting during snowfall, as the path can be slippery.
The weather is cool and pleasant, and you can enjoy the view. There are also snacks for sale in front of the park.
