Penang Hill, locally known as Bukit Bendera, is a collection of peaks on Penang Island, offering a cool and refreshing escape from the tropical heat. The most popular way to reach the summit is via the iconic Penang Hill Funicular Railway, a historical marvel in itself.

Getting There & Funicular Railway
The Penang Hill funicular railway is the primary mode of transport to the top. It's a steep but scenic ride that takes you through the lush rainforest. To avoid long queues, especially on weekends and public holidays, it is highly recommended to book your tickets online in advance.

⏰Operating Hours: The funicular railway typically operates from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The last train from the top is at 11:00 PM.

🎫 Ticket Price (as of 2025):
Malaysian Citizens (MyKad holders): RM 12 (Adults, return ticket), RM 6 (Children 4-12 years, return ticket).

Non-Malaysians: RM 30 (Adults, return ticket), RM 15 (Children 4-12 years, return ticket).
Fast Lane Tickets: There are also "fast lane" tickets available for a higher price, which allow you to skip the regular queue.
