It's like a brilliantly colored theme park. But it's also a mysterious place where your soul can suddenly become quiet.
Kosanji Temple on Ikuchijima, Hiroshima, is a space where architecture, art, and prayer come together.
The main hall is impressive, but I also recommend taking a break at Miraishin no Oka and the cafe.
I visited on a solo trip and was truly soothed.
