📍 Senkoji Temple Summit Observatory PEAK
(Onomichi City, Hiroshima / Design: AS (Jun Aoki + Masatoshi Shinagawa), Structure: Kanebako Structural Design Office)

This newest attraction in Onomichi opened in March 2022. Stretching approximately 63 meters to the summit of Senkoji Park, the sloping observation deck was designed with the concept of a "path leading to the sky and sea." As you walk, the views open up, offering panoramic views of the Onomichi Channel, the Seto Inland Sea's numerous islands, and the cityscape of Onomichi. Its transparent design and integration with the local landscape are appealing, and it has earned acclaim as an architectural work.
