Exploring the world’s longest non-stop three-rope cable car

#vietnamtrip #cablecar
Did you know the record-holder is in Vietnam? I had no idea until visiting Phú Quốc Island and trying the non stop three-ropes cable car! According to the 2018 Guinness World Record, the cable car spans 7,899.9 meters (nearly 8 km).

It connects An Thới (Phú Quốc) to Hòn Thơm Island, soaring over turquoise seas and multiple islands in the archipelago. The 15-minute ride offers breathtaking panoramic views of tropical landscapes and Sunset Town—a surprise slice of Europe with Roman-inspired architecture.

- Operating hours: Daily 9:00–11:30 & 13:30–17:00 (closed for lunch).

At Hòn Thơm: Explore the island, try the roller coaster, enjoy a lunch buffet, Aquatopia Water Park, and more!
