Wat Chalong, or Wat Chaithararam, is Phuket's most famous temple. Anyone visiting Phuket Island must visit it, as it's both beautiful and sacred. 🙏✨

📍 Located on Chao Fa Road (near the Chalong Intersection), approximately 8 km from Phuket Town, it's easily accessible by rental car or taxi.
⏰ Open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

🌟 Highlights
The 60-meter-tall Phra Mahathat Chedi Phra Chom Thai Barami Prakat is a stunning structure containing the Buddha's relics.

The temple features exquisitely detailed murals depicting the life of the Buddha.

There are also statues of Luang Por Chaem, Luang Por Chuang, and Luang Por Klueam, renowned monks revered by Phuket residents.

The temple grounds are spacious and shady, perfect for worship, making merit, and taking photos.

✨ Tips: Dress appropriately: long pants/skirts, and sleeveless shirts. If you don't have the proper attire, sarongs are provided at the entrance.

It's best to visit in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat.
