Before embarking on this Central Asian journey, I was already deeply captivated by Uzbekistan. Finally visiting the country did not disappoint me; in fact, it exceeded my expectations. The place I’m talking about is Shah-i-Zinda in Samarkand 🥹. This architectural complex dates back to the 11th to 12th centuries, and the intricate Islamic patterns, designs, and color combinations are absolutely stunning! Every corner made me stop to take photos. I highly recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid tour groups and crowds, and the lighting for photos is also at its best during this time ✨
