The Shahi Zinda Mausoleums in the Blue City of Samarkand. Mausoleums covered with sophisticated blue tiles are beautifully lined up. From the 14th to 15th centuries, 11 mausoleums were arranged along narrow streets, creating a harmonious and beautiful city. Shahi Zinda means "living king" in Persian, and since he is the person who spread Islam in this area, this place is also a pilgrimage site. It is about a 40-minute walk from Registan Square in the center of Samarkand. On the way, you can also visit Bibi-Khanym Mosque, so be sure to check it out.
