AOAO SAPPORO Aquarium is an urban aquarium that blends technology and art. Enter the moyuk SAPPORO department store in downtown Sapporo, Hokkaido, and take the elevator directly to the 4th floor. The aquarium spans three floors, from the 4th to the 6th.

The "CONNECT" area on the 4th floor is the heart of the aquarium. The Water Cycle Laboratory showcases the production of artificial seawater, simulating an ocean environment for inhabitants. The Aquatic Life Laboratory explains how marine life care is handled by zookeepers, from diet to health checks.

Upon the 5th floor, the "SCOPE" area features a soothing natural aquarium displaying a variety of microscopic aquatic life. The Library Aquarium is a treasure trove of knowledge, with explanatory books accompanying each tank, allowing visitors to learn more about the ocean.

The "COMMONS" area on the 6th floor features a hexagonal landmass that simulates an ice floe environment. Penguin feedings are held daily at 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Jellyfish in the plankton room float slowly under a dreamy light.
