Located near the Sendai Central Wholesale Market, known as the kitchen of Sendai residents, Mori no Ichiba is a modern outer market aiming to be a modern-day "Japanese market." It sells everything from fresh seafood, meat, and produce.
It's relatively easy to get to from Sendai Station, about a 15-minute walk from Oshimachi Station or Rokucho-no-me Station on the subway, or a 3-minute walk from the "Central Wholesale Market Main Gate" stop on the Sendai City Bus.
We were looking forward to trying the seafood bowl made with carefully selected ingredients, which can only be enjoyed here.
The weekday-only "Kimagure Don" (Kimagure Bowl) is a price-breaking bargain in this era of rising prices!
Thankfully! ✨
It's also great that there's an eat-in area where you can relax and enjoy your meal. ✨
There are also other shops selling fried foods and fresh juice.
It gets crowded at lunchtime, so I recommend going before lunchtime. ✨
