Darling friends! Coming to Shanghai and not staying at the Waldorf Astoria is like not coming at all! This century-old Baroque building exudes vintage luxury, often hosting brand exhibitions and fashion shows, and celebrities love to check in here!
📍The location is unbeatable! Right outside is the Bund, an 8-minute walk to Nanjing Road and Yuyuan Garden, with plenty of snacks and star-rated restaurants to choose from. It’s also super convenient, just a 30-minute drive to Hongqiao Airport~
The old building, built in 1910, is full of historic charm! Black and white marble floors, a century-old elevator, and a 34-meter-long corridor bar perfect for photos. The new building’s lobby is understated and elegant, instantly transporting you to the glamorous old Shanghai!
Choose a room in the old building and you won’t go wrong! Crystal chandeliers + sheer canopy beds give off the vibe of a wealthy young lady from the Republic of China era, complete with a separate walk-in closet and Aesop amenities. Who wouldn’t want to stay in the same room as Dilraba! The vintage clawfoot bathtub in the bathroom is perfect for photos~
The restaurants are beyond words! Pelham’s Michelin-starred French cuisine is perfect for dates, the Weijing Pavilion Chinese restaurant serves Shanghai dishes with views of the tiger windows, and breakfast at Baiweiyuan’s semi-buffet is super satisfying!
Don’t miss the red velvet afternoon tea at Pujianghui, which is as beautiful as it is delicious! At night, head to the corridor bar to listen to jazz, with a 34-meter bar and vintage lighting that perfectly captures the vibe of Shanghai nightlife~
