Amazing Ganden Sumtseling Monastery (松赞林寺) @ Shangri-La Yunnan

Shangri-La is one of my dream place must visit and I make it. Love everything there like the transitional Tibetan city, food, culture and vibe.

One of the popular place must visit is the Ganden Sumtseling Monastery. It is a beautiful Tibetan Buddhist monastery situated around 5KM from the city of Shangri-La at elevation 3,380 metres in Yunnan province. It has long history because build in 1679 and it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan province. The outlook from far actually look like the Tibet’s Potala Place, therefore sometimes people will referred it as the Little Potala Palace.

You also can renting the Tibetan transitional costume to wear and acting become a local people to visit the temple. The renting costume is shangri-la is so professional, they will help you make up with accessories. The costume is so beautiful and I am very enjoyed to visit Ganden Sumtseling Monastery and Shangri-La.
