How to Get There - You can take a taxi. We recommend getting off at the North Gate or Beimen. However, if you want to head to Dafo Temple or Guishan, which has the prayer wheel, you can ask the taxi to take you to Guishan Gucheng. They are also in the old town, but at a different gate.
Attractions - Dafo Temple, the prayer wheel, and many cute shops in the old town. There are many restaurants.
Hotels - We recommend lodging outside the old town if you don't want to lug luggage. If you're staying in the old town, ask the hotel to drive you out to collect your luggage.
Restaurants and Food - We recommend the restaurant in front of the North Gate. In the picture, it's the far left corner, next to Luckin Coffee. It's delicious and inexpensive, and it's popular with Thais.
Shopping - There are many shops in the old town, selling everything, including canned oxygen. #TravelChinaOnYourOwn
