Shantou , Chaoshan , a place in China with most of the Diaspora abroad

Shantou is a city under Guangdong Province and while you are travelling to Guangzhou , you can take a quick visit to Shantou area too.
A two day itinerary would be enough for a relaxing slow exploration around the area.

The main attraction in the city being Xiao Gongyuan , Little Garden and many food stalls around the area. A beach side , China Post-Office Museum and Cantonese Opera House all in the walking distance
Beef Hotpot , Beef in general is popular in the Chaoshang area.
And Three Sisters ( 三姐妹 ） is a popular Chaoshang Traditional noodle place most recommended by Chinese people.

Really Convenient , Affordable, Clean & Cozy place !!!

You can combine it together with the Nan Ao Island nearby ( Can be a day trip , Preferably two days ) where you can enjoy beaches , Sunset , Sunrises and Even Fishing if you want to.

Public transportation is available and still convenient but not as much as big cities like Guangzhou and other first tier cities , it’s recommended to hire a day E-Bike and drive around !!!
