How can you miss the retro vibe of the old town when you come to Shantou! This route can be completed in one afternoon, and every spot is a perfect photo location. Just go for it, ladies～

📍Check-in Route:
▪️First Stop: Shantou Xiaogongyuan (No. 4 Shengping Road)
The core landmark of the old town, the circular arcade is full of Nanyang flavor! It’s recommended to stand on the second floor directly opposite the Zhongshan Memorial Pavilion for an overhead shot that captures the entire round square. The afternoon light is super soft, and every snap looks like a vintage masterpiece✨

▪️Second Stop: Shantou Hostel (No. 43 Shangping Road)
The famous "Shantou" big character wall is right here! Navigate to No. 43 Shangping Road to see it. It’s suggested to wear solid color clothes for photos, red or white works great. After shooting, you can rest at the milk tea shop next door, where the second floor also offers beautiful old town views～

▪️Third Stop: Laomagong Opera Stage (Waimalu)
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, remember to check the time! The red gate and carved corridor pillars of the opera stage have a strong vintage feel. It’s recommended to go up from the side stairs to capture the full view of the stage and the layered old buildings behind.

▪️Fourth Stop: Zhenxiang Tea Industry (No. 29 Waimalu)
A century-old tea shop! The storefront maintains a last-century style, and you can buy some Dancong tea as souvenirs. The best part is the old-fashioned counter and tea cans at the entrance, every shot looks like a time travel back to the 1980s. The staff are super nice and will let you take photos even if you don’t buy tea～

1. It’s recommended to start touring at 2 PM when the light is the softest
2. Wearing retro or solid color clothes makes photos stand out more
3. Laomagong Opera Stage is closed on Mondays, don’t go in vain
4. Parking nearby is inconvenient, it’s better to take a taxi or walk
