I heard that Shenzhen Safari Park is really fun, and the entrance fee is only $99. Last weekend, two of us went straight there by taking the Hong Kong MTR and then transferring to the Shenzhen Metro. In no time, we arrived, and it was easy even with a child in tow! It was our first time feeding giraffes and zebras up close... There are also elephants, horses, and ponies. You can even feed the tigers in the predator area, but this little girl preferred to keep a safe distance ^_^. And my favorite, the big brown bear~ The park has about 300 species of wild animals, and you can't see them all in one day!
The zoo covers an area of 1.2 million square meters, and walking alone would be exhausting. It is recommended to buy a ticket for the sightseeing train right after entering. For ¥60, one adult and one child can ride unlimited times all day, covering the entire zoo. There are multiple stops where you can get on and off as you please!
Transportation: From Lok Ma Chau Station on the East Rail Line, enter Shenzhen Metro at Futian Port Station. Take Line 4 or 10, transfer to Line 7 at Fumin Station, and get off at Xili Lake Station. Exit at B and walk to the zoo.
