I finally visited my dream destination, Jüdiao Beach, and this trip completely won me over! The jelly-like crystal-clear waters and the fine, soft sandy beach make every photo look stunning!
📍Location
Nanao Subdistrict, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen. Surrounded by abundant attractions, it's close to Yangmeikeng and Luzui Mountain Villa – perfect for a full day of fun!
🚗Transportation
- By car: Navigate directly to the "New Sports Marine Sports Center" parking lot, which is super convenient and close to the beach.
- By bus: Take bus E11 to "Dapeng Center①" station, then transfer to bus M274 to "Jüdiao Beach" station. The entire journey takes about 2 hours, so check the bus schedule before heading out.
🏨Accommodation Recommendations
- Laihua Resort Hotel: Just a 3-minute walk to the beach, some rooms feature sea-view balconies, and the pool is right downstairs – perfect for those who want to relax.
- Nearby homestays: Budget-friendly options in Yangmeikeng or Nanao Subdistrict offer clean and tidy rooms for around 100+ per person, plus access to night markets.
🎒Essentials
- Outfits: Light-colored long dresses/shorts + straw hats for better photos; bring a change of clothes as water activities can get you wet.
- Gear: Waterproof phone pouch (great for underwater shots), beach socks (to protect against rocks), and a portable fan (a summer lifesaver).
🌟Highlights
- Jelly-like crystal-clear waters: The transparent sea reveals a dreamy blue-green hue under sunlight, resembling jelly – perfect for photos to dominate your social media.
- Fine white sand: The ultra-soft sand feels amazing underfoot, making you want to go barefoot and soak in the beach's gentleness.
- Water sports: From sailing and kayaking to jet skiing, thrill-seekers will find plenty of exciting activities to enjoy on the water.
- Blue runway: Located at the nearby Langqi Yacht Club, this blue runway is a fantastic photo spot, effortlessly capturing atmospheric shots.
📸Photography Tips
Best lighting from 3–6 PM for naturally filtered-looking water. Use 2x zoom for close-ups of the water by the rocky area on the left. Mid-beach shots capture the coastline panorama, while sunset silhouettes add romance and flair.
🍱Food
- Picnic: Lay out a mat under the beachside trees, enjoy sandwiches and fruit with the sea breeze – pure bliss.
- Local eats: Head to Dapeng Fortress for Hakka delicacies like claypot chicken and rice noodles. The juicy, flavorful chicken is a must-try.
💡Tips
- Visit on sunny days for the best water clarity; cloudy weather dulls the effect.
- Sun protection is a must: hats, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen are essential under the strong coastal UV rays.
- Take your trash with you to help preserve this beautiful glass sea 🌊
