✅ Room Type & Upgrade Experience: As a Gold member, though I didn't receive executive lounge benefits (apparently a new rule this year), I was successfully upgraded to a corner room—absolutely loved the fantastic views it offered! Compared to the Quanzhou Hilton, each has its own merits. Though I didn’t visit the 53rd-floor executive lounge this time, it’s now on my list for next time. Before check-in, the front desk thoughtfully called to ask about my preference for a non-smoking or smoking floor, and I opted for non-smoking, which definitely boosted my impression.

🛌 Amenities & Facility Details: Arriving quite late, I found the welcome fruit (a vibrant "traffic light" assortment, with an especially delicious and soft peach) already placed in the room. Since I hadn’t noted a co-guest during booking, only one bottle of Voss water was provided. The room’s AC was pre-set to a comfortable temperature, making it cool and pleasant even during the hot late-night hours outside. However, there was a slight hiccup with the extra bed request—the initial blanket provided was too thick, and after some back-and-forth, I learned that the duvet needed to be freshly pressed, with only one staff member on duty at night. Though it took some waiting, the issue was eventually resolved. The room layout was standard, similar to other Hilton properties, with large bottles of Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries that are gentle on sensitive skin. The shared sliding door between the toilet and shower was a bit unusual, requiring some attention when using. The 37th-floor corner room was a delightful surprise—lying in bed, I could enjoy the day-and-night transitions of Shijiazhuang’s skyline and the bustling Zhongshan Road below, creating a perfect ambiance. The only downside was the TV, which had some static when turned on and didn’t support screen mirroring.

🧹 Soundproofing & Cleanliness: Overall, the soundproofing was excellent, effectively blocking outside noise for a peaceful rest. The cleanliness met standards, with the room tidy and spotless, ensuring a comfortable stay.

🍽️ Dining Experience: Breakfast was decent, with standout tofu pudding that elevated the meal. As a nod to Shijiazhuang’s carb-heavy cuisine, the authentic Anhui-style beef noodles were refreshingly clean, and the pancakes were conveniently cut into small pieces. There was also a hidden menu item—eggs Benedict available upon request. The carrot juice was smooth and free of any off-putting taste, worth trying. However, with only one coffee machine in the breakfast area and staff required to prepare it, DIY coffee lovers might find it slightly inconvenient. That said, both cold and hot whole milk options were available to cater to different preferences. The restaurant staff were warm and attentive, deserving praise.

💗 Other Thoughtful Tips: If you have special requests, communicate them to the front desk in advance for better service. For those who love city views, opt for a high-floor corner room for an enhanced experience. This Hilton stay was made possible thanks to my school’s support, and while the facilities showed some wear, the unique "Zhuang-style" charm made it unforgettable.
