Day 1: Pure White Peace and Faith
At dawn, sunlight fills the streets of Singapore as we head to St. Andrew's Cathedral located in the city center. This pure white Neo-Gothic building stands out vividly amidst lush greenery, serene and sacred. The stained glass windows inside the cathedral let in soft light, creating a tranquil atmosphere that seems to cleanse the soul. Strolling around the cathedral, we feel the traces of history and the elegance of the architecture, as if time stands still here. We pause briefly in the cathedral’s garden, sitting quietly on a bench, listening to the breeze rustling through the leaves, our hearts filled with peace and joy.
Day 2: A Symphony of Modernity and Nature
The next day, we visit the Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, stepping into a green world like a fairyland. Towering plant walls and artificial waterfalls make you feel as if you are in a tropical rainforest. Following the winding path upward, we overlook the magnificent garden views. Here, the perfect blend of nature and architecture amazes us, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. After leaving the Cloud Forest, the sunset’s afterglow bathes Marina Bay as we take a leisurely stroll along the riverbank, drawing a perfect conclusion to our two-day journey.
