[Nagano] The whole area is filled with Hemerocallis day lilies! "Kirigamine-Kurumayama Plateau"

A typical summer feature of Kirigamine/Kurumayama Plateau in Nagano Prefecture is the "Daylily" colony.

The plateau is filled with bright yellow Daylilies.

There are several colonies worth seeing, but

they are all located close to the drive-in, and the good thing about this place is that you can see them without having to do any serious mountain climbing (though there are some ups and downs).

✅Location: Along the Kirigamine Venus Line (Fujimidai Observatory, Kurumayama Plateau, Kurumayama Shoulder, (Gardens around Kirigamine Nature Conservation Center)

Recommended is "Fujimidai"
If the weather is good and the air is clear, you can literally see Mt. Fuji

You can enjoy hiking at Kurumayama Plateau, and at the top of the mountain is Kurumayama Shrine, a shrine in the sky with a sacred pillar
If the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji, which is a spectacular view
