What to do in Xiyuan Temple?

1. Burn Incense and Pray
Get three sticks of incense at the entrance, walk to the front of the Heavenly King Hall (Tianwang Hall) and bow in all four directions. May all your wishes come true.

2. Photo spot
Take a photo with iconic yellow walls 💛

3. Having a vegetarian noodles

4. Counting Arhats
It is said to be very spiritual! After praying to Guanyin Bodhisattva, follow the rule “Men left, women right” to enter the Arhat Hall. Find an Arhat that you feel connected to, then start counting from them, continuing until you reach your age (in Chinese tradition, use your virtual age).

Pro Tip: You can visit the adjacent room to request an Arhat card for blessings, or check online for interpretations.
