📍 Longshan Temple (龍山寺)
🏨 Unique Charm:
Longshan Temple is one of Taipei's oldest temples. While not very large, it offers a special place where you can feel the everyday life and faith of the locals up close. Both tourists and locals frequently visit to pray, share food, and exhibit a warm community culture. The traditional Taiwanese architecture and the scent of incense wafting through the temple add to its serene atmosphere.
📝 My Impressions:
I could definitely feel a different culture compared to temples in my country. Especially seeing people share food inside the temple, I felt the warmth of the locals and indirectly experienced Taiwan's community spirit and culture of sharing. The intricate carvings and traditional decorations inside the temple were impressive, and the sincere prayers of the people created a calming atmosphere. If you want to experience a trip that blends into the life of the locals rather than just visiting tourist spots, this is a must-visit place.
