On my first day in Taipei, I decided to start with a feast of art. Arriving at the Taipei Performing Arts Center, this futuristic building stands like a giant silver planet, quietly amidst the bustling city. Walking inside, the high-ceilinged lobby and smooth curved design are awe-inspiring, and the various themed theaters are hotbeds of artistic inspiration. I chose an avant-garde theater performance, where the interplay of lights and sound, along with the actors' superb performances, transformed the entire space into a world full of imagination. After the performance, I lingered in the theater's art exhibition area, appreciating the creators' behind-the-scenes stories and design details. At dinner time, I walked to the Shilin Night Market, where the bustling streets were filled with enticing aromas. I picked up an oyster omelet and a Taiwanese sausage wrapped in sticky rice, satisfying my taste buds just as much as the art had.
