Night Market Vibes and Southern Sunshine: A Culinary Exploration of Kenting Street Night Market

Day 1:
This trip to Taipei and Kenting is a blend of northern urban life and southern passion. In the morning, I took the high-speed rail from Taipei to Kaohsiung, then transferred to a bus heading to Kenting. The scenery changed from cityscapes to coastal views, making the journey increasingly exciting. Upon arrival, I checked into a beachside guesthouse, where the owner's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. In the afternoon, I visited the famous Kenting National Park. At the Wind Blown Sand Viewing Platform, the seamless connection between the azure ocean and blue sky was breathtaking, and the sea breeze was incredibly refreshing. I then visited Longpan Park, where the vast grasslands and magnificent sea views felt like a paradise. I also checked in at the nearby Eluanbi Lighthouse, a landmark standing at the southernmost tip of Taiwan and one of Kenting's most iconic symbols.

Day 2:
On the second day, I returned to Taipei with a relaxed mindset to continue exploring the city's charm. In the morning, I visited Yangmingshan National Park, climbed to Qingtiangang to admire the expansive highland meadows, and felt the wonders of nature at the sulfur geothermal area of Xiaoyoukeng. For lunch, I chose to eat at Shilin Market, where oyster omelets and braised pork rice are my must-order dishes.
