The Maokong Cable Car operates from Tuesday to Sunday. You can walk five minutes from the MRT Zoo Station to the Maokong Cable Car Station. There is no air conditioning on the cable car, which is a bit stuffy. It will be closed when it is windy or raining. There is a Zhanghu Trail near the cable car station on the top of the mountain. You can walk all the way to Zhangshan Temple in about 20 minutes. The scenery along the way is also good.
